We are now ready to scale up our product operations and expand our presence across borders and are looking for a Finance Intern to join us on our mission.

Your role

In this internship you will have the opportunity to learn everything about finance in an HR Tech start-up. You will be part of a rapidly growing finance team and gain the experience needed to kick-start your career!

We're looking for someone who is keen to learn and has interests in finance and accounting and would like to experience a real start-up to scale-up journey.

What you will be doing:

• Have the opportunity to learn about accounting, accounts payable, and finance related processes across our business units;

• Gain experience in the financial administration of a rapidly growing start-up;

• Work across teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to reconcile financial data between our systems;

• Collaborate with our external accountants to ensure that financial data is processed completely and accurately;
  

• Learn about creating and maintaining balance sheet, profit and loss, and cashflow reportings.

The biggest challenge in this role? We are bootstrapped, value driven and ambitious. So we have to be lean and creative in everything we do. We want to grow fast and scale across multiple countries whilst maintaining a top notch client experience of 9 out of 10. Are you up for the challenge?

What you will bring to this role: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;

• Interest in growing your financial experience;
  

• Proactive, eager to learn and always looking to push yourself to the next level;

• Tech savvy, process driven and eager to solve problems;

• Team player with a positive mindset who gets things done;

• Fluent English; Dutch would be a plus;

Preferable (not a must)

• Personal experience of living and/or working overseas;
• Good understanding of the Dutch start-up ecosystem;
• The more languages, the better :)
